Fluid Intake
A sufficient amount of suitable fluids is necessary for functioning metabolism, working kidneys and the expulsion of toxins produced by the body. It also affects the functions of other organs, our mental and physical capabilities, as well as our complexion.
Every day, the human body expels on average 2.5 litres of water. It is done through urinating, breathing or skin pores. To balance these losses, we must maintain a regular fluid intake. Part of this amount is produced by the body due to various metabolic functions. Another part is ingested through food and the rest we must supply directly by drinking. The quality of fluids and their correct amount are prerequisites for good health, mental balance and physical performance.
