The all-new Motorcycle Helmet Alpinestars S-M5 Bond Gray/Yellow Fluo/Green Glossy 2022 is the result of more than five years of intensive study, development and testing. Based on Alpinestars’ five decades of protection development, we scrutinized every possible aspect to engineer a helmet that is safe and thoughtfully designed to deliver optimal protection and comfort. The Hipro high-impact polymer parametric shell is made of a polymer blend enhanced by varying degrees of thickness engineered to deliver the optimal combination of impact protection and light weight. The 5-density EPS liner offers the right density in the right area for enhanced impact absorption. The integrated collarbone protection features an engineered raised area with padding to effectively reduce the forces transmitted to the collarbone. The patented visor release system allows the visor to release in a crash with the correct pre-determined amount of force regardless of angle of impact. You might also appreciate the oblique impact protection which features inner and outer surfaces engineered to minimize effects of oblique impact. Then there’s the ultra-ventilated design thanks to which the visor directs air into ports for enhanced airflow, the ERS (Emergency Release System) that permits the safe and easy removal of the cheek pads while the helmet is still on, hydration compatibility (integrated cheek pad loops hold the hydration hose) and the 26-mm-wide chin strap that’s wider than certification requirements for safety and rider comfort.
