Hammock Underquilt YATE Nesto

The Hammock Underquilt YATE Nesto is basically a down quilt that provides effective external insulation for a hammock.

Hammocks are becoming an ever-more popular way to sleep outdoors. However, one still needs to think about external insulation, since a crumpled up sleeping bag at the bottom of the hammock provides only minimal insulation. So, you can use either a mat or an under quilt. An under quilt is basically a down quilt with elastic shock cords that is hung underneath the hammock and fits closely to it. The down in the under quilt remains fluffy and therefore maintains excellent insulation properties, keeping you warm at all times.

In order to fit as closely to the hammock as possible, the quilt features shock cord suspension, which is fully adjustable, both horizontally and vertically. A down collar at either end of the quilt allows for an even more precise fit. You can use S-shaped carabiners to connect the cords over the hammock, or use alligator clips to attach the quilt to the sides of the hammock. As a result, you can even use a mosquito net. Depending on the outside temperature, all you need now is a light sleeping bag or a blanket to throw over yourself. Thanks to its rectangular shape, you can use the Hammock Underquilt YATE Nesto as a blanket to get under when you need to spend the night in your car or at your cabin.
