The Umarex XBG is a lightweight air pistol with a metal frame. The outer frame is made of hardened ABS polymer, including the magazine and the recoil spring. The magazine holds both the ammunition (4.5mm steel BBs) and the 12g CO2 cartridge. The capacity of the magazine is 19 rounds.
The pistol features a double-action trigger, which means that the trigger both cocks and releases the hammer. The pistol, of course, features a manual safety that prevents accidental firing. Last but not least, the pistol boasts an integrated RIS 22-mm mounting rail underneath the barrel.
