Heart Rate Monitor w/Chest Strap Polar T34

The Heart Rate Monitor w/ Chest Strap Polar T34 is a wireless heart rate monitor with a signal range of approximately 4 meters that features an open 5 kHz transmission frequency that is compatible with fitness equipment and other wearables utilizing the 5 kHz frequency (not Bluetooth or ANT+). 

A heart rate monitor allows you to determine your maximum heart rate, which you need to know if you want to use the HRC program on exercise machines – based on the heart rate, the machines adjust the resistance or incline (treadmills) to make your workout as effective as possible.
