The Backpack FERRINO X.M.T. 40+5L is an expedition backpack that has enough space for your hiking and/or mountain climbing equipment. The removable top lid closes with a sturdy strap with an indestructible duralumin buckle. The side compression straps, which help you reduce the size of the backpack, also feature metal buckles. As all the X.M.T. backpacks, this one, too, was designed to withstand rough handling. The main compartment offers front access with roll-top closure. There’s another access point (with a long zipper) on the front. Apart from ice ax/trekking pole holders on the front, you might also appreciate gear straps that allow you to attach additional gear, such as skis or snowshoes. Behind the comfortable back system of breathable foam, there is a pocket that can hold a 30m rope, which will come in handy on the glacier.
The Backpack FERRINO X.M.T. 40+5L was made of durable Cordura material, which is also its main advantage. The back system is heavily padded, so it remains comfortable even after a long hard day. The top lid with a valuables pocket can be completely removed. Since the main compartment has the same closure as marine bags, nothing will fall out of or enter the backpack. All the buckles are made of duralumin alloy which can withstand extremely cold temperatures. The trekking pole/ice ax holders and waist belt with a pocket and gear loop are a must. When you need to make the backpack lighter, you can detach the back reinforcement, top lid and waist belt. This will make the backpack 700 grams lighter, reducing its weight to an acceptable 950 grams.
