Creatine is a nitrogenous organic acid that is naturally found in the human body. The human body produces creatine in the liver and kidneys with the help of three amino acids – arginine, glycine and methionine. The amino acids are extremely important to the production of the “immediate” energy sources (phosphocreatine – CP). Supplying creatine to your body via nutrition supplements increases its amount in the muscles, which allows the body to produce more “immediate” energy sources. This will allow for a greater performance during training. If you properly administer the doses of creatine, you’ll ensure a gain in muscle mass and an increase in strength. A very important effect is the shortening of the regeneration period after a physical strain. We recommend using creatine and saccharides (75 – 100 g) at the same time, because it increases the use of creatine in the muscle cells.
