Intended for 28”/29” bikes with hydraulic disc brakes, Electric Set CRUSSIS with Rear Drive and Frame Battery is an excellent way to turn your regular bike into an e-bike. Thanks to a lightweight drive with a high-quality control unit, you won't have to be afraid of any hill and actually will be able to enjoy uphill riding. As the speed sensor is built into the drive, no installation is required. You can control the electric drive on an easy-to-read LCD display, where you can choose from as many as 8 assistance modes or turn it off completely and ride with no assistance at all. Furthermore, on the display you can follow all the important information, such as battery status, average/current speed, distance and/or time. An acceleration lever can be mounted onto the handlebars.
The electric drive is built into the rear wheel rim. Made in the Czech Republic, the Crussis double rim is made of high quality 2.3-mm thick stainless steel wires. Even though the spokes are centered, it is recommended to tighten them after every few kilometers. If you want to have an e-bike but cannot afford one, this CRUSSIS Electric Set is the perfect choice. What is more, you will not have to get used to a new bike. All you have to do is turn on the assistance and start riding.
The set is compatible with the vast majority of bikes that meet its specifications. However, depending on the age and technical design of each model, there may be a situation where you need to replace or exchange some components during the installation.
Note: Store the battery in a dark and dry place in temperatures from 10°C to 20°C. When you are planning not to use it for a long time, charge it to full capacity and then recharge it every six months.
